These post-its are a memory aid. They were in Aldo Rossi's book 'Architecture of the city' (1982), in which he sets out his idea of the 'city as memory'. Each place is fed with collective and individual memories and thus becomes itself a - tangible - memory. The notes underline an architect's responsibility to account for this. More in the abstract, the scribbled post-its represent the importance of reading in itself. By reading, you discover new relationships between design and the wider profession. Reading makes the profession more fun.
