InHolland University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam's Sluis neighbourhood has a load-bearing structure with a huge lattice truss. That truss makes it possible to situate several more floors above a spacious and light atrium. A few days after the truss was installed, this bolt was lying in the sand of the construction site. Unclear why, but clearly visible due to its large size. The bolt is an everyday object, and this bolt attracted attention purely because of its anomalous scale. A bolt literally represents architecture because it makes connection possible.
