Recently, construction company Burgy completed the restoration work on the outer shell of Arsenaal Delft. The transformation of the historic weapon storage into a complex with, among other things, a hotel, restaurant, exhibition and congress center has now reached the next phase. Under the coordination of cepezedbouwteam (cepezed construction team), the construction division of cepezed, the buildings are now being prepared for their new functions. For example, non-historical elements such as raised finishing floors, installations and toilet groups were removed. Removing the toilets created temporary floor recesses that will enable the prefab sanitary units to be hoisted to the hotel floors later on. Specialist in prefabricated bathrooms Portisa will deliver and install the units ready-made this summer. The various operators of the new functions will be officially announced early next year.
