At the Laan op Zuid in Rotterdam - at the site of the current Hillekopplein - the University of Applied Sciences Rotterdam and the City of Rotterdam are developing an educational facility for about 4,000 pupils and students. The approximately 22,500 m2 building will serve as the new home for the Institute for Communication, Media and Information Technology of University of Applied Sciences Rotterdam and a secondary school (havo and vwo) of SNZ-BOOR Foundation.
In recent months, a lot of hard work has gone into finding a suiting contractor. Led by cepezed, construction company Heerkens van Bavel and the development team will now finetune the design. The construction team agreement is signed today, with the intention to start construction in the second quarter of 2024.
