'How a 5,400m2 building 'travels' from Amsterdam to Enschede?' This is what Ronald Schleurholts, architect and partner at cepezed, explains in a lecture on 21 November in Ghent.

circular construction
Schleurholts is the guest of network organisation De Bouwschil, knowledge center for 'performing facades', which contribute to energy-efficient construction and renovation. This can be a technologically 'smart facade', but can also relate to circular construction. He will focus his lecture on the latter, using the Temporary Amsterdam Court as an example. De Bouwschil is excited about this project, as relatively little is known about the Temporary Court Amsterdam in Flanders. 'Find out how during the project waste of materials and energy is countered and how 2,000,000 kg of CO2 is saved.'

program
Schleurholts is the keynote speaker and will be introduced by Nadja van Houten of Bureau Bouwtechniek. She will answer the question: How should our approach be changed to achieve a breakthrough of circular construction? The evening will be closed by Raf De Preter of Bureau Bouwtechniek. Among other things, he will present a study of 'biobased' facade systems in comparison with classic facades.
