Antigoni's journey within architecture began in Greece, where she studied architecture at TU in Athens and obtained her architect's licence. After her studies, she started working at a Greek interior architecture firm, where she developed her passion for detail.
Antigoni gets her motivation from travelling and discovering new cultures, among other things. Something that played a major role in her decision to study the master's in building technology at TU Delft. She finished her studies with the design of an adaptive façade of a tall building in Paris, where she aimed for a high level of comfort within the building. Appropriately, she worked as a facade engineer at a metal cladding company for five years after completing the master. Here, she gained a lot of valuable technical knowledge and experience. We are happy with all the knowledge and experience Antigoni has brought to cepezed.
Not only in her work and studies did Antigoni put her knowledge to use. She entered no less than two architecture competitions. She finished as a finalist in the international architecture competition "Food and Wellness Club" in Bologna. She also became third in a competition in Athens, where she designed details for a child care centre.
What appeals to Antigoni most about cepezed is the manufacturability and technical side of the designs. She also finds cepezed's attitude towards sustainability and circularity very important. She would like to 'learn more about how to design a sustainable and circular project and thereby convince the client.' She considers this sustainability important in both material choice, detailing and detachability.'
