Charlene van Ruijven, secretary 

Before joining cepezed, Charlene worked for eight years as front office manager and account manager promotional gifts at Hanos. Here, she gained a lot of experience and since she worked here since the opening of the facility, she personally shaped her position and had plenty of career opportunities. Now, Charlene is running the front office at cepezed together with her colleague Ilse.

Charlene appreciates the freedom she is given at cepezed to actually improve the front office. For instance, Charlene is responsible for security and took care of the optimisation of the vehicle logistics. A project where kilometre registration was digitised per project, saving the project administration and front office a lot of manual work. ‘At cepezed, the front office is definitely not a role with a standard telephone operator and administrative tasks. That is exactly what makes my job challenging and fun.' says Charlene.

The helpfull nature of the position suits Charlene well. For instance, she feels a sense of ownership to maintain the office and has a lot of responsibility for the partners' agendas. Charlene values ‘above all the fact that despite not having contact with the architects at project level, everyone always knows how to find her when something is (needed)’.
