Jeroen studied HBO Architecture in Utrecht and then progressed to the Master of Architecture at TU Delft. This is where he graduated in Heritage & Architecture. In 2020, he completed his professional experience at cepezed and registered as an architect.
Creating architecture from which simplicity radiates, striving for integration of all aspects and attention to detail is what Jeroen appreciates in cepezed.
Jeroen has already contributed to many projects at cepezed, but is especially proud of his contribution to the PI in Scheveningen and Qutech. Both challenging projects with tough constraints within a completely different world. The challenge in case of the PI was combining all the requirements for the divergent users: the litigants who are both patients and inmates, but also the people who work there. With the obvious aim of creating a pleasant and safe working environment.
Qutech's design process also required a lot of attention to detail. As project leader, he took care of the design process resulting in a ‘scheme in which the requirements, pleasant working environment and sustainability fit together perfectly and became part of the experience of the building’.
