Noa's choice for the academy of arts expresses a love for drawing and design, but she traded the academy for a communications bachelor at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. Noa specialised in 'creative business', which is all about creative businesses, but especially about creatively inserting communication. For instance, for an international competition, her team developed a way to make the clothing industry more sustainable: an app that generated outfits when you uploaded your wardrobe into it, making you less likely to buy something new. For her graduation, Noa developed a concept to increase employee engagement at Ikea Delft.
At cepezed, Noa sees exactly the right balance between structure and fanning out, creative enthusiasm: 'Here, efficiency and professionalism are used to provide a structured workplace, where I have the opportunity to let free. I absolutely enjoy that. Everyone at cepezed has a passion for the profession, clearly a lot of love is put into the buildings. I appreciate it and it gives me great satisfaction being able to take care of the photography of those buildings.'
Especially because of her involvement in photography and her teaming up with our regular photographer Lucas van der Wee, Noa visits many cepezed projects: 'This way I get a good impression of what they look like, it's like a quick course in cepezed signature. I strive to understand exactly how a building was intended, to be able to tell this story properly with images.'
